Mobile Consular Services (MCS)

Over the years, the Ghana National Council of Sweden (GNCS) has collaborated with the Embassy of Ghana in Denmark to organize Mobile Consular Services for the Ghanaian community in Sweden. These outreach programs have been held in major cities including Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö, making consular services more accessible to Ghanaians living across the country.

The mobile consular services provide an important opportunity for members of the Ghanaian diaspora to access essential embassy services without the need to travel abroad. During these visits, embassy officials offer support with various consular matters, helping to ensure that Ghanaians in Sweden remain connected to their country and have access to the necessary documentation and assistance.

Services typically provided during these outreach events include:

• Passport applications and renewals
• Document authentication and consular support
• General consular inquiries and guidance

These initiatives have significantly improved access to consular services for Ghanaians living in Sweden and demonstrate the continued commitment of GNCS to supporting the welfare and needs of the Ghanaian community.
