Successful Mobile Consular Service Held in Gothenburg
The Ghana National Council of Sweden (GNCS), in collaboration with the Embassy of Ghana in Denmark, successfully organized a two-day Mobile Consular Service in Gothenburg as part of its activities for 2025.
The event brought much-needed consular services closer to members of the Ghanaian community living in and around Gothenburg. Over the two days, many Ghanaians took advantage of the opportunity to access essential services without the need to travel outside Sweden.
During the outreach, embassy officials provided a range of consular services including passport applications and renewals, document authentication, and general consular assistance. The initiative was warmly received by the community, with many participants expressing appreciation for the convenience and efficiency of the services provided.
The program was well organized and saw a strong turnout from the Ghanaian community. GNCS volunteers worked closely with embassy officials to ensure the smooth running of the exercise and to assist attendees throughout the process.
The success of the two-day mobile consular service once again demonstrated the importance of collaboration between the Ghana National Council of Sweden and the Embassy of Ghana in Denmark in supporting the needs of Ghanaians living in Sweden.
GNCS remains committed to working with partners to bring essential services closer to the community and to strengthening the connection between the Ghanaian diaspora and Ghana.
